Well...

It was un-professionable of me to use the word «thoughtpolice», but I am reading Nineteen Eighty-Four and couldn't help it.

I am angry at the Chinese Government, so I probably shouldn't be writing this article. I have now cleaned it up.

Accuracy

China may be the model for our own web-future

I've noticed how, in some ways, the US is becoming more like Kuwait than vice-versa; e.g. bringing in cheap foreign workers to do all the dirty work.

I heard on CNN yesterday that Microsoft has taken the word "democracy" out of the Chinese system(s)..hummm. In case anyone hasn't noticed, the U.S. congress is paying less and less attention to what the majority of Americans feel about important issues (82% of Americans are opposed to "free-trade" deals). Congress just caters to the lobbyists (8 per congressman) for the companies that get money to themselves and their pals. Paulrevere2005 12:28, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
