Going by the text of the article, it appears the fisherman initiated the confrontation. Should the title be: "Fishermen confront Greenpeace ship off Marseille"?

Not sure what you mean? Are you saying that Greenpeace initiated the confrontation by provoking the fishermen? Maybe the title should be "Protesting Greenpeace ship blockaded by fishermen"

yes, more or less, Greenpeace love to confront in order to attract attention of media (it worked well in this case). Yes your last title seem better. Jacques Divol 07:28, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
