independent confirmation?

Is it just black propaganda? Please update as soon as the translation is independently confirmed.

document a possible fraud

I have heard the document a possible fraud. The main arguments were that the language and style of the document is clearly distinct from other writings of the group and that the contents is mainly good news for the counter-insurgency. Regretfully i don't have a source.

Please consider:

The document in question has not been independently confirmed. And-- What kind of terrorist organization would leave plans and maps lying around their "hidden rebel base"?

I have some problems with this article but am new to wikinews and not very good at addressing my complaints. I will list it out as best I can:

Citing a defense official of a country at war as the only source of information obtained from enemy combatants within that nation seems to not fit wiki policy regarding sources. Though, reuters and AP had this story. This is where I am confused. Also, just because I say something isn't true, flat-out propaganda, or not newsworthy (it certainly is newsworthy!) does not mean I'm right. But this seems a.. less reliable source. Then again, I don't know the guy.
