Wow. This is a surprising story. I had thought the EU was going to tell Bush to piss off and begin arms sales to China fairly soon.

The EU is leaving a lot of money on the table by foregoing these sales and continuing the embargo.

Perhaps China's timing wasn't so good in announcing the anti-secession law last week?

I'm looking forward to reading more about this story.
