At this stage the article is primarily based on my primary observations in watching the match. This was added to by comments from the BBC commentry, which I base my 'controversial' penalty call assertion on (to paraphrase, '9 out of 10 of those aren't given'), as well as the suggestion that the Polish goal was off-side (Shearer).
