Lead?[edit]

Imho this story has not enough newsworth to be on lead. Stelth of explosives from mines and construction places is not uncommon. international 20:45, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sure the theft of a few sticks is a commonplace occurrence, with mine workers wanting to do things like show their loyalty to their country by blowing up a small piece of it on July 4, but nearly 700 sticks? That's boxes and boxes, enough to bring down a substantial building or some structure like a bridge. Plus the chemicals which can be used to make additional explosives. --Brian McNeil / talk 20:57, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Photo[edit]

There must be a better photo/graphic we can used than this, which is just highlighting an area. A map with the mine picked out by a spot would have been better, especially as it's currently on the homepage. Frankie Roberto 22:47, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
