comment[edit]

I see you added a source, but it does not contain nearly all the information in the article. --SVTCobra 00:05, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

i see[edit]

Simply because foreign media aren't covering the story fully. Though, information is available from Hungarian newspapers. BTW I'll add another - more detailed - source. 80.98.211.234 00:13, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

very nice. I added MTI to Wikipedia just for you. --SVTCobra 00:55, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
I did a rewrite. I tried to use only the sources. (If you click edit, you can see your paragraph about blame, I couldn't source that - perhaps you can find a source so that can be put back in.) --SVTCobra 01:26, 22 August 2006 (UTC) Oh, and thanks Rocker.

4 confirmed dead by the authorities...[edit]

i know those sources tell only 3, but they were published before the 4th victim's body was discovered.

there was 5 deaths *index/MTI. "Megtalálták a vasárnapi vihar ötödik áldozatát" — index.hu, 24.08.2006 - in hungarian

Yet, no one has taken responsibility for the events, though the Hungarian Weather Service has warned the authorities hours prior the storm. According to the 37th law of 1996 the mayor of the capital, as the principal of the defense and security committee has the rights and responsibilties for such events. Despite this, he is acccusing the country's government, while the government is trying to blame the tragedy on the weather service.
