2003 EL61 is not a planet, it is a Kuiper belt object. --Brian McNeil / talk 21:57, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just a petty issue. The article calls Pluto a former planet. The title of "planet" was not stripped from Pluto because Pluto underwent some change to escape the title; the definition of what constitutes a planet was what changed, and so Pluto is not a former planet at all. Pluto is formerly called a planet, but remains largely as it was in spite of our redefinition, so it cannot be a "former planet" because according to our new definition it was most likely never a planet to begin with.

How's the fix? Next time you might want to have a go yourself. ;-) --Brian McNeil / talk 23:07, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Haumea at Wikipedia

[edit]

{{editprotected}} I suggest to add a link to the Wikipedia article on Haumea (which is the current name used for EL61). I would do it myself, but unfortunately this article is locked. Jan.Kamenicek (talk) 06:47, 21 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

It would be good to add the Wikipedia template. Jan.Kamenicek (talk) 00:17, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
