Talk:Lawsuit: Hernandez vs IGE
Add topicI'd like to add the resolution of the case. Source: http://virtuallyblind.com/files/hernandez/pierce_declaration_august.pdf w:Brock_Pierce, the "sole Managing Member and sole officer of [w:IGE US]" declared that, six days before the suit was filed, everything that IGE owned had been sold to Affinity Media Holdings. In the end, IGE US was barred from selling World of Warcraft gold, or farming, etc., for five years. But, since IGE US didn't own IGE.com since just before the suit was filed, the decision won't impact Affinity Media Holdings or the IGE.com website.
"The lawsuit will be dismissed “with prejudice” (meaning that it cannot be refiled) only with respect to the named plaintiff, Antonio Hernandez. Any of the remaining members of the proposed class (the other ten million or so people who play World of Warcraft) are free to refile the suit against other defendants, such at Atlas and or Affinity, if they want to."
