Ceasefire looms?

I'm not a native speaker but doesn't only bad things "loom" ? Like, "disaster looms" or "war looms". --+Deprifry+ 21:57, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

while i too thought so, apparently loom does not necessarily have a negative connotation (2b. below) - according to merriam-webster
