Definitely one of the best in years, though I would have preferred West Ham to have won as the underdogs - can anyone get rid of those w:s I accidentely put up? --Iamajpeg 22:26, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Response to Iamajpeg's belief that "british english team names are plural"
[edit]Wikipedia states:
- Liverpool Football Club (usually known simply as Liverpool) is an English football club that is based in Liverpool, Merseyside.
This entry supports my assertion that "Liverpool Football Club" is singular, however its elements may be plural. A club is singular, regardless of its nationality. Karen 21:41, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
