I understand what this means, but the article needs to be more clear to people who don't know what the difference between closed and open standards is. - XML-based file format Thats an intreasting statement. I think they're going for a particular format here. Whats wrong with rich text documents, pdfs, or even plain text documents. Can't make a memo in notepad/emacs/vim/etc anymore unless you're actually editing XML. Bawolff ☺☻ 01:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
