Photos from Louisiana DEQ[edit]

The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality have several high quality aerial photos and a satellite image available on their website. I'm not sure if photos from DEQ would be classified such that they'd be considered public domain or not. I feel posting one image in the news article would probably fall under fair use, but not sure.

I can see why you'd believe that it'd be public domain. However, only federal government works (as opposed to state or local government works) are PD. You might be able to use the Mississippi photos, so make sure to check. Messedrocker 23:25, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
