NGerda, you reverted some rewording that I did. Do you really think that this:

Light was disconnected in apartment houses. The transportation in some lines of the Moscow underground was blocked for 4 hours. Trams and trolley buses and electric trains of the Moscow railway have stopped. Hundreds of people have been blocked in lifts of apartment houses.

.. is better than this:

Light was disconnected in apartment houses. Some lines of the Moscow underground stopped for four hours. Trams and trolley buses, electric trains of the Moscow railway also stopped. Hundreds of people have been trapped in apartment building lifts.

The second paragraph seems like much more natrual English to me. - Borofkin 00:51, 26 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • "trapped" and "apartment building" sound more natural to me. Uncle G 17:24, 26 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Causes?[edit]

Still. what are the causes of all this crisis? landroni

What country's "intelligence" forces infiltrate other countries and f___sup their infrastructure in order to blackmail them politically and economically? You tell me. Paulrevere2005 20:05, 26 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Infiltration is always a possibility, but unfortunately for this kind of things to occur in Russia there's no need of outside interference. (Unfortunately again, this is applies not only to Russia, of course, but to many countries in the world — my other country included). 82.155.75.212 21:38, 20 July 2006 (UTC) Martins-Tuválkin (PT/RU)Reply[reply]

question about title correctness[edit]

Does the title mean the largest ever in russia? Does it mean the largest ever in the world? If it means in the world, I think its incorect because acording to w:List of power outages there was a power failure in Italy affecting 56 Million people, but w:moscow says there's only 11 milion ppl. in Moscow. Yes, it should mean "the largest ever in Russia". If you know how to change it in the right way, please, do so. Forester 03:41, 27 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]
