Cspurrier reporting snippet removed prior to story move to headlines:

"If this is bill is passed it could have a major impact on Wikinews’s Weather reporting as it currently retrieves the weather condition data from the U.S. National Weather Service."

Not sure the best way to say that but the WeatherChecker page states that it uses weather condition data from the U.S. National Weather Service. --Cspurrier 02:22, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

This is a pretty big issue; it must be covered in more than a single place, since it will affect millions of dollars worth of industries, airports, etc. - Amgine 01:24, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Agreed after reading the source article. Thanks for slowing me down on this. I'll probably add some sources now...

Not much out there <yet?> on this news. -Edbrown05 01:43, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I added a link to the bill I hope this is enough. --Cspurrier 02:22, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Good article but....

[edit]

Good article; intersting; well written, BUT PLEASE CAN WE INDICATE THAT IT IS ABOUT THE USA (remember just saying federal won't do because there are a lot of federative nationstates in this world) AND DONT USE THE NOTATION OF R-Pa, because before i started editing on this site i'd never see the notation before, so it can be assumed that there are other visitors to the site who dont recognise it either. Please say "Republican from where ever, in the USA". Its not that difficult, and it leaves the thin facade that we are an international organisation in tact. Sorry if i sound grumpy... ~The bellman | Smile 06:23, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
