Pictures[edit]

The UK MoD has published some really good pictures of the event; I've seen them aired on TV. If we could track them down, they would look great on the article (and might even serve usefuly to ilustrate it as well ;-). I would imagine that the images are not covered by copyright - or, at the very least, are free for press use, after all, that was the whole point of releasing them - but if not fair use can be claimed, so no loss there. Help tracking them down would be much apreciated. I'm going to try Sky News's website, I reckon they should have it, as it was them who were broadcasting the pictures. Unfortunatly, it's really low-res on their site, and badly cropped, too. I will have to look elsewhere. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 12:06, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's great! Thanks! I'll upload one of them as fair use... I don't think it's really fair at all, but a) we're the press, the public has a right to know (or so the argument of every journalist goes) and b) the rest of the world thinks it's fair and it's us who benifit, so no worrys! I'll get to it. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 12:21, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I heard one pair was intercepted near Guam a few days ago.. that would make the photos PD as Dod releases. --TheFEARgod 14:58, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
