This story highlights how unreliable many papers are, and how easily a rumour is started, even when it has absolutely no basis in reality. Most rumours have at least a grain of truth, but this was completely and utterly fabricated. -- Zanimum 19:51, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I agree Zan. Nice job. After reading this I thought it was very well written. We should do more stuff like this on Wikinews. We need to create our own investigations and break the news first before the news sources do it. FellowWiki Newsie 19:56, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I totally agree...I have one word when we investigate like this: Benoit :-P DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 20:00, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, I was off by an hour or so, beat by Hollyscoop. I have a daily digest from Google of news articles mentioning Sesame Street, unlike the gossip hounds, who are likely searching Britney's name every half-hour, getting the story quicker.
But thanks for the compliments none the less. -- Zanimum 23:30, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
