Talk:Skull study supports theory of human origin in Africa
Add topicMisleading headline
[edit]The headline is misleading. They didn't confirm anything, they simply stated thier own hypothesis that they arrived at after looking over the data. Therer has been no new scientific consensus, not to mention that the feild is constantly in turmoil. For example:
http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/summary/291/5502/230
is one of the articles descibing the oldest DNA, which comes from Australia!
In conclusion, the scientists in this article came up with a conclusion that seems to be uncalled for given their methods, and other data conflicts with their conclusion.
Change the headline. (preceding unsigned comment by 70.237.139.227 15:03, 19 July 2007)
- I agree. I've renamed the article to "Skull study supports theory of human origin in Africa" (from "Study confirms humans are from Africa"). —Pathoschild 19:11, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Actually the oldest DNA on earth, that we have found, comes from Greenland. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 19:14, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Oh and DNA and genetic codes, cannot lie. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 19:16, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
