If we are going to call the New Zealand team the All Blacks then shouldn't we refer to South Africa as the Springbox? --Nzgabriel | NZ Portal | Talk 21:09, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

A discussion over on wikipedia determined that the meaning of All Blacks is universal, whereas not everybody would know know about the Wallabies, Pumas and so on. Perhaps Springboks is pretty well known, but I think All Blacks would be the only name that the majority of people would know about, including those who know little of rugby.
