Could United States be put somewhere in the title? Saying there's mercury contamination is like saying some spinach can have e coli, it'd be nice to know who might be affected. Fephisto 14:41, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think it likely that all industrialized countries produce mercury pollution in sufficient quantities that animals in those countries are affected. The report was written by a US organization. But the problem is quite likely not limited to one country.
However, if you insist, by all means, be bold and try to improve the title. --AlexS 15:03, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Good. I like this title better. --AlexS 21:11, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mad-hatters? Try mad-meat-eaters!... Does anyone know where all of this mercury is coming from? That would be some useful info. -Rich

Those damn thermometer makers are dumping it in our lakes and streams! Fephisto 15:39, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
