I note that according to Wikipedia, the AC-130 is a fixed-wing gunship, not a rotary-wing (i.e. helicopter), yet the current article refers to the AC-130 "helicopter gunship." The current picture also pictures a fixed-wing gunship. No sources are currently given, so I can't determine which is correct. 68.148.96.197 23:02, 9 January 2007 (UTC)StockGear[reply]

Comments about its rate of fire are silly; they should be removed and replaced with a wikilink to the aircraft's article. And yes one should actually clarify that this was the aircraft used as 68.148.96.197 says, and not describe it incorrectly.

More seriously I'm not sure this article is NPOV as written. I see no quotes about who the U.S. was trying to kill or why they did it. Just some critisism from various people who have reasons for criticizing it. Of course I see nothing wrong with the quotes included. Just a lack of context.

Let me put it another way, Clinton actually tried to blow up people he thought were bad in and of themselves, but Bush just goes for oil, so maybe we care what reason Bush gave this time? Nyarlathotep 00:32, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here are some better sources maybe. Nyarlathotep 14:01, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
