Talk:UK and Aussie troops will not fight opium in Afghanistan
Add topicAerial Spraying ?
[edit]I have been looking for articles that include some type of questioning/explanation as to why the coalition are not aerial spraying(killing) the Afghan poppy fields, which are out in the open, like the forested coca fields in Columbia are being sprayed. That is a good question to be asked, I think, so maybe someone can find an article where that question has been asked of a coalition official. Neutralizer 14:15, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- Here's an interesting one I found on spraying... Apparently in 2004, Hamid Karzai rejected a spraying proposal...

i was wondering where the heroin goes? Which countries consume the heroin produced in afghanistan? while countries in the west are paranoid about heroin use, i watched a bbc documentary last year in which the use of heroin in iran (afghanistan's neighbour) was said to be the highest per capita in the world. I guess this wouldn't be a point useful for the article, but if anybody has any data about this, i'd be interested.
