Not news[edit]

I took a look at the article this article references, and the news story was published in May. As far as I know, it's not news if it happened last month. —THIS IS MESSEDR with umlaut.pngOCKER (TALK) 23:49, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Statement retracted (see below). —THIS IS MESSEDR with umlaut.pngOCKER (TALK) 02:00, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Story Date[edit]

I think your point is well taken, but the article has re-appeared in reprints as recently as today in hard copy edition of Harrisburg Patriot-News. It is also a trend piece so immediate timeliness may not be indispensible to the value. I do appreciate your taking the time to both look into it and write. Might you reconsider your objection? 01:25, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Messed...perhaps some reference in the piece to the current summer reading season might make it more currently topical. please check the most recent edit and let me know your thoughts. Thanks for your input.

My decision[edit]

If you put it that way, then I guess it's newsier than I thought. —THIS IS MESSEDR with umlaut.pngOCKER (TALK) 02:00, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
