Talk:Worldwide student competition brings WTO debate battle to Geneva

I have tried to improve the article as much as I could: - shortened it - made it more neutral - only saying that the event is taking place and one quote from the WTO Appellate Body which this competition is trying to simulate - added some sources - deleted external links as I found Wikipedia pages for the organisers I do hope this is better now. Please let me know if there can be more improvements done. I will accept all comments. Thanks! Mogmaria 13:58, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is getting better, but you need to write in your own words. I read the opening paragraph and found several phrases that were copied from the first source.
Secondly, the dateline use. Are you currently in Geneva? If not, you can't use this - sorry! --Brian McNeil / talk 14:06, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I'm not going to add publish, but I'll not stop someone else doing so - see what you get as a second opinion. --Brian McNeil / talk 14:07, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV tag[edit]

Please add specific paragraphs or things that you dispute on the talk page, don't just slap the tag on, harder to see if it has improved since.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 12:11, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Improvements[edit]

{{editprotected}}

  • "fulfils" => If the quote is correct [sic] should be added, if it is incorrect, it should be "fulfills"
  • The "all costs, no benefits" source has a new location, namely here
  • The latter two sources have the same URL. The second is wrong and should be this one
