What's wrong with copying the intro from Wikipedia?
I wrote most of the article currently on Wikipedia, and as the text is GFDL anyway, I'm not sure what the problem is.

- Wikipedia licenses it's contents under the GDFL, but Wikinews licenses it's content under Creative Commons Attribution 2.5, a different license whose contents are not compatible. I think I'm right, but feel free to revert me. --Thunderhead - (talk) 06:34, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Gotcha. I didn't think they were incompatible, but I'll take your word for it. Either way, I decided to re-write those sections anyway. TomXP411 06:40, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Note, If its only you who wrote the wikipedia article, its okay as you're the copyright holder. If others helped, then you have to get them to relicense (try looking at their talk pages, many people automatically multi-license). Bawolff ☺☻ 08:33, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Are you sure about that? I thought once an article has been added the copyright belongs to Wikipedia and not the author. Also, the quote "realize that if both companies continue to compete in the American marketplace, neither company can succeed." needs to be removed, it's a tad too subjective. --Wolfrider 17:30, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
