Humans controlling Humans

I would like to make a comment on the absurdity of religion's power to misguide otherwise sane people, but I fear the backlash it would create from over-zealous, fundamentalist, and generally intolerant people who only think their ideas are the absolute truth. Please remember that we are all free to love as we so desire, and love does not hurt but heals. May the human race continue to evolve, and then someday we may truly become enlightened.
