Mobs

Mark Twain has described people in mobs as unruly. I don't blame him. I'm sure he wasn't thinking. And did it hit the officers? The article is a little unclear

"...giving glancing blows to two police officers..." - yes, but it was not a square hit. I think one received bruising.

" friends wrote that "[Edward] has such a good heart and he would never intentionally hurt anyone."

If he "would never intentionaly hurt anyone" why would he throw a fire extinguisher off a tower block?
