Thats a brilliant find in the spider mite genome, maybe it sets a standard for other species being able to adapt to its surroundings. 1-2 years to become resiliant to certain pesticides (man made that is) is remarkable, maybe we can manipulate its strengths. genes transferring over to the next generation is scary but yet interesting.
