The Texas Nationalist Movement is an organization devoted to furthering the cause of Texas' potential secession from the United States. A local group of the organization's members gathered in Tyler, Texas on Saturday for a public demonstration. Standing near a busy intersection, members of the Smith County chapter waved Texas state flags and US flags, as passing motorists honked their horns, waved and gave 'thumbs up' signs, presumably in support of their efforts. Wikinews interviewed the chapter's representative, Shawn Bradley at the demonstration.
