Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for the credential identification card service (the "service") provided by User:Messedrocker ("I").

1. The following personally-identifiable details ("intimate details") are intentionally collected:

   a mailing address for which to mail the credential identification card

   a recent photograph, measuring at least 100 pixels by 100 pixels, which accurately represents your present likeness at the time of issuing of the credential identification card (the "picture").

   The information collected by User:Messedrocker is the minimal requirement for which to establish a centralized service.

2. The following intimate details are collected by the editors of Wikinews ("Wikinewsies"):

   your full name

   your location

   your e-mail address.

   Certain intimate details of the credential identification card are collected from [1].

3. Your e-mail address is unintentionally collected as part of the service.
4. With the exception of compliance with subpoenas issued by recognized courts of the realm, under no condition should the intimate details recognized in Clauses 1 and 3 shall be released to any party. The intimate details recognized in Clause 2 are publically available on the Internet and as such beyond the control of User:Messedrocker.
5. The intimate details as identified in Clauses 1 and 3 are sent to a private e-mail address outside the control of Wikinews, the Wikinewsies, or the Wikimedia Foundation.

   In the event said e-mail account is compromised, I cannot be held liable for the inadvertent release of information. I shall do my best to prevent account compromises from happening.
