Prefix bits

[edit]

To link to a Google search: Google:Google Search (Or a cached page: Cache:http://www.slashdot.org/)

That works with pipes, too: Google Search (Cached page: Slashdot)

Other prefixes, none of which I really found useful

Seemingly longer prefix list meta:Interwiki map. try rfc:3092.
Hah, okay, I finally get why you did that. I couldn't understand what RFC 3092 had to do with anything at all. I get it now. Honestly. I do. Woohoo. .... I feel accomplished. --- Check that out! Mediawiki autolinks RFC followed by a number. That's cool, too.
LOL. Really, because I don't! Bawolff ☺☻ 03:07, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Seriously, I want to know why I did that. Bawolff ☺☻ 03:13, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
You were demonstrating the fact that you can wikilink with the prefix [[rfc:]]. It's an awesome feature. Coupled with the fact that MediaWiki automatically makes links with RFC followed by a set of numbers. RFC 3030 becomes RFC 3030. irid:t 03:15, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Cool! -I didn't know that. RFC 1 (always wondered what that was)
