Hi,

My name is Jan Meijer. I am a MediaWiki enthusiast and as such a globally registered user on MediaWiki. When viewing this wiki, I received the standard indication of 'message waiting, what lead me to my user page. Because I do not like to act anonymously I write this simple message on that page.

To be fair: I have little to no intentions to contribute news. But one never knows what one will do in the future. Maybe deep inside of me there is a journalistic talent hidden.

But no. I am an IT freak, with most interests in communication technologies. Both hardware and software. There lies the background of my interest in MediaWiki. It is a awesome good tool for inter-community documentation, although much too little acknowledged.

Every now and than I assist in setting up wiki's and Hey, professionally, I am very much willing to assist on projects like that. So if you're interested: contact me!
