About me
I have been a Wikipedian for more than seven years (since February 2005), and have been active in many facets of the Wikimedia movement. My primary wiki is the Norwegian (Bokmål) Wikipedia, where I am a bureaucrat and administrator.
When I'm not working with Wikimedia stuff, I study linguistics at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. I also love to travel, and have been to approximately 31 countries to date, most notably Tanzania, where I was on exchange for six months.
My work
I was hired as a Fundraiser Production Coordinator in July 2011, and because of my experience with languages and translations in Wikimedia, I was asked to coordinate the translations of the fundraiser. This was turned into a Fellowship, focusing on improving the translation experience for fundraiser translators.
I am currently working on improving the translation system and communication structure for all translations on Meta, as well as working with the i18n team on several issues.
Disclaimer: I work for or provide services to the Wikimedia Foundation, and this is the account I try to use for edits or statements I make in that role. However, the Foundation does not vet all my activity, so edits, statements, or other contributions made by this account may not reflect the views of the Foundation.
