One of these days I'm going to have to write a boilerplate bio to put on all of this kind of site. Here's the gist.

Mythological Beast usually refers to Robert Rapplean. Robert is one of those people who just has to know how the world works. He was taught assembly language when he was 10 to help his dad debug firmware for a robot he was building, and has had an undying fascination with science and technology ever since. His perpetual curiosity has resulted in a strong founding in all of the physical sciences and many of the social ones. He is currently employed as a software engineer, but pursues a broad range of activities including political analysis, kempo, philosophy, podcasting, sociological engineering, 3D modeling, more programming, and educating the masses, not necessarily in that order.

Robert is one of the creators of the Intellectual Icebergs podcast.
