Just what I need, more books.
I devour Classic Romances especially Victorian times. Highly recommended.
I liked Jane Austen's "Pride & Prejudice" the best, even though it was a bit romantic. There were lots of laugh out loud moments & few tense. But Eliza, the protagonist, showed her best. She even stole my heart. My favourite fish (Gold Fish) in my home aquarium (fish tank) is named after her.
English

English is a funny language; that explains why we park our car on the driveway and drive our car on the parkway.
It's a strange world of language in which skating on thin ice can get you into hot water.
History

If you want to understand today, you have to search yesterday.
History is a kind of introduction to more interesting people than we can possibly meet in our restricted lives; let us not neglect the opportunity.
& least I can say is History is Herstory, too …
Quest of knowledge
[edit]Though I know that, all our knowledge merely helps us to die a more painful death than animals that know nothing. Animals have these advantages over man: they never hear the clock strike, they die without any idea of death, they have no theologians to instruct them, their last moments are not disturbed by unwelcome and unpleasant ceremonies, their funerals cost them nothing, and no one starts lawsuits over their wills.
