Accountability[edit]

Finally, someone other than the Liberals won. Such a long period of Liberal rule made the Liberals complacent, as anyone who's followed the sponsorship scandal can see. I wonder if the Conservatives will reform the system to make our government more accountable, though. Unforgettableid 02:26, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

You'd be happier if the Liberals won? But then what would be their punishment for Adscam? They'd just feel free to go and have another scandal and waste Canadians' money again! Unforgettableid 05:44, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
I agree that the liberals have been in power for a little bit too long. but change for change sake is a bad thing. Since there is no alternitave thats the exact same as liberals (minus adscam of course), my mind is divided, but I don't think that change just to kill the libs is a good idea. However a minority government is a nice comprimise in my opinion. (Obviously its not intentional, but it is Best of both worlds IMHO. Just hope another election doesn't happen in a year.)
