Welcome fellow Wikipedian

Hi. I notice on your user page, you welcome Wikipedians. is there a reason why on your user page you are welcoming Wikipedians but not local project contributors? (Would you welcome fellow Wikinewsies on your Wikipedia user page?) As a fellow Wikipedian, are there any questions you have about Wikinews? Hi LauraHale, thanks for the comment. I'm still setting up my userspaces in preparation for beginning to contribute to various Wikimedia Foundation projects. I have Asperger's and I tend to do things in a fairly pedantic way sometimes, such as setting up all my userspaces across all WMF projects before I begin any real beneficial contributions. My future contributions here on WikiNews, or on any other WMF project for that matter, may be as little as asking or answering a question on a talk page, or may extend to a comprehensive range of useful and beneficial edits. Whatever I do, I want to have a unified and standardized appearance across all WMF projects.

I did have a redirect on my talk page here pointing to my global talk page on Meta-Wiki (another Wikimedia Foundation project), but it seems to have disappeared now, and the Editnotice I created doesn't seem to work here either, although it works on most other WMF projects.

As to your question about welcoming "fellow Wikipedians", I guess I could localize that message for each WMF project that I intend to get involved with. Thanks for the suggestion. AugurNZ ✐⌕ 00:27, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
