Welcome

[edit]

Iamsam227, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!--MarkTalk to me 21:53, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please format the source tamplates correctly as shown at the bottom of each page when editing: *{{source|url=|title=|author=|pub=|date=}}. Otherwise good job :) DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 00:34, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Accreditiation

[edit]

It just might be that no one has noticed yet. You can always ask on the Water cooler :) DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 04:00, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

You passed the accreditation, so drop me an email with details to go on the wikinewsie website and how you want your wikinewsie email address set up. I'll then set up and send you details of the email account password, add you to the online calendar, and if you create an account on The Editors' blog I'll upgrade its status. Contact MessedRocker for press pass details. --Brian McNeil / talk 10:01, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
