Introvert, welcome to Wikinews! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay! If you haven't done so already, you may want to create an account.

Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! Bawolff ☺☻ 23:29, 24 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

P.S. You realize that putting an m: in front of an interwiki link not destined for meta: doesn't do anything? Bawolff ☺☻ 23:31, 24 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the welcome! I was so hoping for any helpful links for me to read :) Thanks, and happy holidays - Introvert 05:17, 26 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

update to Anna Politkovskaya article

[edit]

hi Introvert,

welcome to wikinews. just wanted to let u know that Wikinews articles, once published, are not meant to be updated with newer developments - the articles are considered to be "historical documents", they reflect the events and the information available at the time of publication. a rough rule of thumb is, if the article is published for two days, it shldn't be edited for adding content. any new developments should be reported by starting a new article. Wikinews:Content guide has more on this. cheers, Doldrums 03:26, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your helpful advice. Regards ~ Introvert (talk) 02:58, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
