Welcome

[edit]

Jasabella, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!--Cspurrier 12:48, 11 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

November 15 protest

[edit]

Hi there! I do want to meet before the protest... I emailed your cinduhrella address on Friday... not sure what happened there. You can call me on 0431 570 245 if you still want to arrange to meet. - Borofkin 06:13, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

Do some reporting if you like

[edit]

If you were at the protest, you are welcome to add your observations to this article. Feel free to expand the "Australia" section with information about the protest, or if you like create a new "Sydney protest" section. Or even start a new article to deal solely with the Sydney protest, if you're feeling bold. - Borofkin 23:50, 21 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikinews credential reconfirmation

[edit]

Hi. You left no contact information for WN:CV, so I will ask you here. I am doing a reconfirmation of the credentialed Wikinewsies. If you wish to keep your credentials, let me know either though emailing me or through my Wikipedia talk page. Be sure to let me know by August 5. MessedRocker (talk) 05:44, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Accreditation Expiration

[edit]

Greetings, I wanted to let you know that our policy regarding accreditation has recently changed slightly. Specifically we've enacted an automatic expiration of accreditation after 2 years. You can very easily "re-up" your accreditation should you choose to, but at this point in time you're on the Inactive list. As such your accreditation will automatically be revoked on March 15th unless you request otherwise. Currently, posting to the following thread will keep your accreditation. At a later date, all Accredited reporters will be put in for that "re-up", at which time you'll be notified. Thank you, and should you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 20:33, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
