Welcome

Kalspring, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! Bawolff 12:18, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please note bots are only allowed to operate if they are approved at WN:BOT. This includes bots not needing a bot flag. Please make sure you get user:KalspringBot approved before using it for anything. Thanks for your understanding. Bawolff 12:18, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi I have blocked your bot because it was not approved at WN:BOT and made an unhelpful edit [1]. Please get it approved before running it. Thanks for understanding. Bawolff 12:34, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

My bot

[edit]

Sorry about those mistakes. Still ironing out some problems. The bot's intended usage is to flag pages for speedy deletion, or to find copyright violations. It should take about 3 - 4 days to fix it then. Apologies if my comments seem rushed, I'm on a public computer now. --Kalspring (talk) 12:39, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thats fine. Please make sure to request approval on WN:BOT. Bawolff 13:08, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
