From a technical aspect, thats really cool!!☺. However it would require a change in quite alot of the ways things are currently done. (I'm not saying that's a bad thing) It just may take a little bit to figure out the best way to implement this. (assuming other people like it.) Bawolff ☺☻ 06:06, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Partly what I had in mind for Business Briefs[edit]

This is partly what I had in mind for Business Briefs. Wikinews needs many articles than it generates now. I simply do not have enough time to make a good-size article on everything I think needs covering. I have several RSS feeds and try to pick out stories that appear relatively frequently, using that as a guide to what the public would be interested in. Currently Business Briefs has a few flaws mainly to do with admins which I hope to find solutions for. For example, there is no cgi form to append a new brief, the whole page must be editable to edit a brief this could add accidental typos and other problems.

One problem with your approach is who gets to decide what Headlines need to appear? If general users then it could easily become a spam magnet. --Sfullenwider 22:35, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, currently general users decide what goes onto the front page. That doesn't seem to be a problem. Zocky 08:20, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
