- I think that suspending the ArbCom will lead to a mad rush when we have some sort of a problem that isn't possible to resolve through normal mediation/arbitration. Elections take just a little bit of time and I'd rather ensure that we have a structure in place in case we need it. -- IlyaHaykinson 17:20, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- What is the biggest reason we should *not* vote for you, if any? --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 22:33, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not planning to be an activist in resolving ArbCom cases: while I have my opinions and intent to vote in ArbCom votes, I do not want to the the one driving the process along. In other words, I intend to be a voting member rather than an organizing member of the committee. If you are looking for a more activist member who is trying to change the ArbCom, the arbitration process, or drive the individual cases along, I wouldn't be your candidate. -- IlyaHaykinson 17:20, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
