Transcripts, or texts?[edit]

If these are transcripts, then they shouldn't be edited except (after the recording is published,)to correct differences from the spoken text).
It seems to me that the latest Brief should be called a "text" rather than a "transcript," until the reader is ready to record. And then she or he should change it to "transcript."

That's right, it's just a script until the recording is made, then it's a transcript. However, that detail doesn't bother me as much as the inconsistency of the title from "newsbrief", "newsbriefs", "news brief", and the current tile as of 07:04, 28 March 2006 (UTC) of "News briefs." If you stick with the current one, I'll be happy - but whatever you do, please be consistent! Karen 07:04, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
