Wikinews talk:Main Page redesign

I've integrated part of my design into the main page via Template:Latest news, there is a dynamic aspect to this and a technical aspect that renders the Year/Month/Day/Latest news pages obsolete. meta:ParserFunctions includes {{#time <format> | <date>}} where date can be relative, like -1 days.

Problem, the dynamic bit doesn't work for me in MSIE6, but similar dynamic content on Wikipedia does work. Instead I get all the sections expanded (per previous view) with nice blue headline bars on the older dated articles. --Brian McNeil / ^talk 13:17, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

this appears to a be a IE <cough> security issue. i see the same problem on en.wikinews.org, but not on secure.wikimedia.org/wikinews/en/, which i've marked as a trusted site. IE probably disables some scripting functionality required by the dyn nav box. Doldrums 13:31, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
