- Questions such as these are exactly the point of doing an Interview. - Borofkin 06:15, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Interesting
[edit]Those writing the questions may also like to take a look at this page, Stollery openly states "Tom Cruise is NUTS" It is linked from Scientomology's new video hosting site - Cartman02au (Talk)(AU Portal) 08:15, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Possible copyright infringement
[edit]While the authors of South Park are happy for their show to be distibuted via the internet see here there are snippets of other television shows which are being distibuted on the site. This could explain why the videos were removed from their webhost. I will contact YouTube and see if I can find anything out - Cartman02au (Talk)(AU Portal) 08:37, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Comment from Church of Scientology
[edit]I've emailed the Church of Scientology media relations people informing them that we are going to interview Glen, making them aware of his press releases, and requesting a general statement about Glen's accusations, and also responses to Glen's statements in the interview, when they occur. - Borofkin 08:49, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I've emailed the media relations people (mediarelationsdir@scientology.net) again, including a copy of the interview, and requesting a comment or statement of some kind. - Borofkin 07:23, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Youtube reply
[edit]Hi Nathan, We have not received a DMCA notification letter from Viacomm. However, thank you for bringing this video clip to our attention; I will alert our customer support team. Cheers, Julie -----Original Message----- From: Nathan Carter [mailto:magnaboy@westnet.com.au] Sent: Monday, March 20, 2006 12:45 AM To: julie@youtube.com Subject: Scientomology removal Hi, My name is Nathan Carter and I am an independent author who publishes his work on the news site Wikinews. I have come across http://www.scientomogy.info/threats.htm which claims that YouTube removed videos placed on the site by the author of scientomology because of pressure from Tom Cruise and/or Viacom. If possible can you confirm or deny this? If possible can you say if the files were removed under a DMCA takedown notice by another company? Regards, Nathan Carter.
