Wikinews talk:Template messages/User talk namespace

Personally, I don't like adding a lot of warnings on users' talk pages. On Wikipedia they put tons and tons of warnings on vandals talk pages. It really doesn't do anything but says that Wikipedia tolorates vandalism and you can get away with it. Thats what I think.... —FellowWikiNewsie 01:08, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Not really, I've occasionally seen vandals, warn once, they keep doing, it, warn twice they keep doing, warn three times (with final wanring in it), and they stop. If people stop with a warning, they're a lot less likely to start again, then if you just block them straight up (IMO). Bawolff ☺☻ 01:46, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
