wow just another case of iranian ignorance and attempt at blackmailing the world into doing sometihng it ownt od just to make the little bastrads happy. when we are done in iraq and afganistan lets go to iran.

Honestly? Iraq was never a threat, and the fact that the Bush administration committed fraud and lied in order to enter into a war with them was disturbing and wrong. But I supported a war against Afghanistan and Iran for years before 11/9. Those 2 countries were (and still are) immensely dangerous, and need flattened before they do something *really* bad in 10 or 20 years. And it isn't just the government in those 2 countries. Yes, there are a lot of poor, poverty stricken people who are no threat to anyone. That's true of darned near everywhere. But in Afghanistan and Iran the civilians who aren't poverty stricken (those who don't spend every moment of every day just trying to survive) are just as bad as their government. It's like Germany in 1935 all over again:P. No, no it isn't. They're worse. Gopher65_talk 14:38, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps the Iranians are right in this instance, and either the BBC is acting as a limited intelligence agency, or these groups arrested are not actually associated with the BBC and are solely spies? 66.157.100.249 19:18, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Typically the BBC would not issue a statement right away. In the US lawyers generally instruct those associated with individuals accused of committing crimes, to not talk to the press police or anyone else without legal consent. So given the circumstances, I would not expect BBC to report on it or issue a statement so soon. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 22:23, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
