 Regarding the trial  of Steven Truscott. Just finished the book by Julian Sher.  The main thing for me was why weren't those two children who saw him cross the bridge with girl on handlebars, then return to the bridge alone. Why didn't they believe them? Stephen Truscott INNOCENT---TRUE[edit]

I have always believed that Stephen Truscott was innocent of this murder. Everyone is still wondering why Warren Hatharal wasnt further questioned concerning the lies that were told about him asking Stephen where did you dump the body after you killed her---and he said Stephen said in the river with the fish. This was proven to be a lie. Did Hatharol who was a teenager not only make up this story but encouraged other young people to agree with it and later they said it wasnt true. If these are the facts or are they rumors-why wasnt the liar punished and furthermore questioned further. Was he jealous of Truscott and did Hatharal have a fight with the murder victim in a fit of jealousy because she didnt want him. I dont know what happened but I do sincerely believe that Stephen was innocent. Did his conviction come from a young liar that asked his school pals to back him on his lies.
