Is this the rail service which takes 5 hours from Belgrade to Split? Possibly the slowest rail link in the whole of western Europe!
Last year I was in Split, a fine city worth a trip anyday, but had to fly due to 3 days travel from London by rail - simply to long and too expensive. Now this rail disater. Perhaps they were trying to speed up the service a little to fast?
Croatia is waiting to join the EU but it will have to sort out its infrastructure. Hope this does not set back Croat development. Dalmatia is well worth visiting and I can recommend it + fabulous coast. Regards,
